Dear Mr. Sommerfeld,

I saw a message posted on the Posen Rootsweb mailing list that you collect Sommerfeld genealogy information.
I found the following marriage record of my ancestor and was hoping that you might have some information about the family:

Joannes JANKOWSKI married Marianna SZYMANSKA on 20-Nov-1825 in Czeszewo, Poznan.
Bams posted 14-Oct-1825 in the Roman Catholic Church.
His parents were listed as Joannes SOMERFELD and Anna JANKOWSKA.
Her parents were Andreas SZYMANSKI and Marianna KALISZONKA.

I find it curious that Joannes is listed with his mother's name, JANKOWSKI, rather than SOMERFELD.
Possibly, Marianna JANKOWSKI remarried ?

I have also included a list of other Sommerfelds I found in the Church records.
I am not sure if or how any of them are related.

Any information that you can provide would be appreciated.
