SOMMERFELD-FORUM

The following two people are my great grandparents and I am trying to find and confirm
as much information about them as possible.

Peter August SOMMERFELD, born March 9, 1867 in Tragheim in West Prussia.
I believe his parents were George SOMMERFELD and Justina RODE.
He emigrated with his parents to a village called Alexandrows in the Jekaterinosslaw district
of South Russia around 1870. The family was Lutheran.

Helena WILLMS, born December 8, 1871 in Tragheim in West Prussia.
I believe her parents were Frederick WILLMS and Helen RABENHORST.
She emigrated with her parents to Alexandrowsk in the Jekaterinosslaw
district of South Russia around 1870. The family was Lutheran.

They married in a Lutheran church in South Russia (near Odessa I suspect) on August 6, 1895
and emigrated to Canada with their children around 1913.

Seeking anyone with information on George SOMMERFELD and his wife Justine RHODE.
They were most likelyborn in the 1840's. They suddenly appear in Tragheim (Groß Lesewitz)
where Lutheran church records the birth of three children. They are

Maria Elizabeth SOMMERFELD, born August 27, 1862.
Johann George SOMMERFELD, born December 2, 1864.
Peter August SOMMERFELD, born March 9, 1867.

The family then disappears. Peter August SOMMERFELD reappears in Neu-Osterwick, South Russia.
In 1912 he emigrates to Canada.

I would appreciate trading information with anyone who has any information on anyone in this family.

I know very little about Frederick WILMS other than he was Lutheran and from West Prussia. He
worked (and apparently lived) in the DB Schultz Agricultural Managufacturing facility in Alexandervosk.

He married Helena RABENHORST and their daughter Helena WILMS married my
Great Grandfather Peter August SOMMERFELD. They came to Canada in 1912.

If you find anything I'd love to hear from you. Without a location in
Prussia my research on Frederick Wilms is at a total standstill.
