Geschichts-Professor John Robert Sommerfeldt.

Professor John R. Sommerfeldt ist ein anerkannter Mittelalter-Historiker,
vor allem der klösterlichen und Zisterzienser-Geschichte. Er kam an die
Universität von Dallas und war von 1978 bis 1980 deren Präsident.
Er erlangte die Professur an der University of Michigan. Nach einer sehr
beachtlichen Karriere ist er jetzt im Ruhestand. Unter Mediävisten *)
ist er genauso so anerkannt und geachtet wie als Gründer des Annual
International Congress on Medieval Studies in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
